Ninh Binh has a humid subtropical climate with an average annual temperature of about 23°C and total annual rainfall of around 1,830mm. The year divides into two main seasons:
Dry Season (October - April)
Cool to warm temperatures (16-25°C), minimal rainfall, and clear skies. This is the best time for outdoor activities, photography, and comfortable sightseeing. December through February can be quite cool, especially in the morning and evening.
Wet Season (May - September)
