Brown/Stubble Harvested / Replanting

First crop is harvested. Fields show cut stubble and are being prepared for the second planting.

August - September

Green Growing (2nd crop)

Second crop grows during the rainy season. Lush green returns to the paddies.

Late September - October

Golden Yellow Ripening (2nd crop)

Second golden season. Not quite as spectacular as May-June but still beautiful and with fewer tourists.

November - December

Brown Harvested / Fallow

Fields are harvested and rest. The karst mountains and river take center stage in the landscape.
